The CIJ seeks to educate and train journalists in investigative journalism across all media. Funded by The Logan Foundation, the CIJ has hosted three Logan Symposiums in Europe (London twice and Berlin) with the next scheduled to take place in (tba) in October 2020. The symposium “stands for the commitment to a world free of authoritarian invasions of privacy that create fear and threatens free association.”

Their work includes human rights documentation, investigative reporting, civil rights litigation, the curating of public information, conceptual art projects, and the orchestration of difficult public conversations.
